Welcome to the 3rd article in an interview with the candidates now for our 3rd candidate JVTA!
TheAllSeeingBird:Do you want to change anything about the moderation system if so what do you want to change?
JVTA:Yes. I wish to redo the entire rules, to make them clearer, more understandable, and less biased. This will assist in preventing events such as those regarding TAITHELEGEND. These rules will be made out of inputs from the average Realmplex player (through a survey).
TheAllSeeingBird:Interesting what's your opinion on the length of sandwichpress and clamlum's ban?
JVTA: I have no strong feelings about the length of Ada and Callum's ban.
TheAllSeeingBird: Okay, What do you think about Taithelegend's ban?
JVTA: Same answer as with ada and clamlum.
TheAllSeeingBird: Should there be a change to the current server rules?
JVTA: I do not have any strong thoughts on changing the rules for myself, however I do think other members of the server would want things changed. That is why I want to rewrite the rules.
TheAllSeeingBird: Should there be any changes to the system of war?
JVTA:It is hard to answer this question with a yes. While griefing during war would be interesting, it would be damaging and may anger a lot of people. Perhaps a mod could be installed that allows for wars to happen. This could also allow for faction claims to exist on the server.
TheAllSeeingBird:Interesting perspective, What's your opinion on how ada was as an moderator?
JVTA:I am neutral on Ada's performance as a moderator. While there were things she did right, there are others that she did wrong. Banning herself was a bit funny. And, I'm going to put this here: I do not endorse the actions Ada made in the hours before her resignation.
TheAllSeeingBird: Okay last but not least what is your opinion on Sasha's performance as a moderator?
JVTA:Sasha was a mixed bag as admin. While he did do his job efficiently, I feel his opinions affected his decisions as admin, such as his outright refusal to grant Jacob any form of appeal.
